Dirilis Ertugrul Season 01 Story: The main role of the series, Ertugrul ghazi was son of Suleyman shah, the leader of the Kayi tribe (a tribe of Oghuz Turks). The story starts when Suleyman Shah felt the need of a land for the safety and peaceful living of his tribe and he sent his son, Ertugrul bey, to the Emir of Aleppo but suddenly the story of the season takes turn when the Ertugrul saves Shehzade Numan and two of his children, Yigit and Halima Sultan, from templars.

Saving them from enemies brings alot of problems for Ertugrul and his father in getting the land from Emir because Nasir, traitor in the palace of Emir, was actually working for templars, creats hurdles for Ertugrul to get land from Emir But his secret is then disclosed to Emir as he is killed by Ertugrul.

Then another problem comes in the way of Ertugrul and this time it has been arised from Ertugrul's own tribe.

The brother of Suleyman Shah, Kurdoglu wanted the Suleyman Shah's beylik and he is being helped by the adoptive sister of Ertugrul Selcan Hatun, who was also the wife of Ertugrul's brother, Gundogdu Alp.

Ertugrul also faces many problems after he falls in love with Halima Sultan as Selcan Hatun's sister, Gokche, wants to marry Ertugrul and Ertugrul wants to marry Halime Sultan. Finally he gets succeeded in his aims as Kurdoglu is beheaded and he is married to Halima Sultan. As the season proceeds to end, templars are defeated by Ertugrul and Selcan hatun repents but then a sad happening occurs during migration of Kayi tribe to Eruzrum (a land given by Emir to Suleyman Shah) as Suleyman Shah dies of gout complications and 1st season ends there.
